ONE LOVE PHOTO

Hello, we are Heather and Jon, a husband and wife photo team. We truly enjoy capturing fun playful weddings and working with our amazing clients! We have an uncompromising artistic style and move in the opposite direction of cliche wedding photography. Which means we won't make the groom dip the bride or put the veil over the groom's head and we definitely won't make the wedding party all jump at the same time.
We capture weddings using a combination of cameras and techniques. In addition to using high quality Canon digital gear, we also shoot with a Hasselblad medium format film camera, homemade custom lenses and even a couple plastic toy cameras. Images shot with our special film cameras and lenses have their own look and feel. Some produce beautiful vignettes, some are square, and some make things soft and dreamy. Our images are unique because they combine the style and sensibility of today's generation with yesterday's vintage look and feel.

All of our packages include: 2 photographers (us of course)! All our old school film cameras and homemade lenses for our signature vintage look. Unlimited medium format film and high resolution scans (which isn't common or cheap these days)! Our wedding packages are simple and straight forward and range from $3,300-5,900. Please contact us directly for a detailed list.
TRAVEL RATES:
We've got the Travel Bug! For US weddings outside of the Seattle area we offer an inclusive travel bug package. This package includes our creative fee and all our travel expenses rolled into one simple flat fee.

Just got back from the honeymoon and cannot even express the EXTREME excitement surging through my fingers as I madly type this. You captured us perfectly in these shots and I CANNOT wait to see more. Everyone should be so lucky as to have you 2 shoot their weddings...AMAZING through and through.

I just got your little Hasselblad preview package in the mail. My mind is blown. My heart melts. The pictures are amazing. You are too too kind. There are sooooooo many incredible shots in here. Not only am I transported emotionally and visually to the joy of my own experiences on that day, but to see all these moments that I never knew about and see all the joy and heart-buoyancy of all our friends and family -- it's too wonderful for words!

PORTRAIT COMMISSION WORK:
I love making beautiful portraits of children. I was honored to have a book published by Chronicle Books titled "Up to No Good" in 2000. The book featured over 100 of my black and white portraits of young boys being their "rasically candid selves". While working on this project, I began to truly appreciate the beauty in capturing children as naturally and authentically as possible.
With my portrait work my goal is to capture children in a natural yet artistic way. To not focus on matching shirts or perfectly combed hair, but to relish in the beauty of ordinary living. To photograph children with messy hair as they wake from a nap. To capture true smiles as they giggle and build an afternoon fort. This approach to photography takes trust, time and patience. Most sessions last between 2-4 hours and are at your home or a location of your choice. Sessions start at $400, please contact me for more information.
